INDOOR AIR QUALITY PRODUCTS
FOR HOME & BUSINESS

Welcome to Fresh-Aire UV, makers of the world’s best whole-house UV light and activated carbon air purifiers. Our products clean the air throughout your home or business because they are installed directly inside your central air system. Microbes and odors are eliminated as air cycles repeatedly through the system.

Indoor air pollution can be divided roughly into thirds:

PARTICULATES MOLD/GERMS ODORS/VOCS

Conventional filtration is effective against particulates, like dust, but has no effect on the other two thirds. Fresh-Aire UV light products, such as Blue-Tube UV, are proven to sterilize biological contaminants like mold, germs, and viruses in the air and on air system surfaces. Our award-winning APCO products neutralize odor-causing VOCs as well as biological contaminants inside the air system and throughout the home.

Residential Applications

Introducing our most advanced whole-house air treatment system yet. APCO-X is the result of ten years of APCO development. It will revolutionize indoor air quality with significantly improved performance, functionality, and reliability.

APCO®

Detox the air with APCO®, our award winning clean air technology that removes germs, odors, and toxic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from all the air in your home.

BLUE-TUBE UV®

The world’s best-selling HVAC UV light fights mold and other biological threats that thrive in the cool, moist interior of the air system.

AHU SERIES 1

Like Blue-Tube UV our original HVAC UV light also fights mold and other biological threats in the central air system. It features a larger, heavy-duty power supply that can support up to four UV-C lamps.

MINI UV

Mini UV is designed for mini-split AC systems, which,  like all AC systems, are prone to internal mold growth particularly on the blower wheel.

PURITY/PLP

Purity combines MERV 11 filtration with UV-C light and odor control for comprehensive air treatment.

Why UV?

Safe & Effective Disinfection

For over a century scientists have known that certain frequencies of light have a devastating effect on microbial life. We now know that exposure to ultraviolet light in the range of 254 NM (UV-C band) disrupts the DNA of micro-organisms thus preventing them from reproducing, thereby effectively killing them.

UV Light – A Well Established Disinfection Technology
UV light disinfection is now widely used in hospitals and laboratories to sanitize instruments and work surfaces and to prevent the spread of potentially lethal airborne infectious diseases. The technology is used by the food industry to sterilize food before packaging and water treatment systems large and small now incorporate UV light as a chemical-free means of purification.

Kill Germs With Light
Because the frequency of UV-C light is filtered out by the Earth’s atmosphere microorganisms have no defense against it. It works by scrambling their DNA which prevents them from reproducing.

Indoor Air Quality
According to the EPA indoor air pollution is often five times worse than outdoor and represents a significant health risk. UV-C improves indoor air quality by sterilizing mold, bacteria, viruses, and allergens from the air as it cycles through the central air system.
